Default Quick intake question

Well I bought a used Halltech Stinger or whatever they are called. It didn't come with a filter and I was wondering if I could just use a regular K&N style cone filter or if I would have to use one of those rectangular shape ones the kit comes with.

I think you CAN use a cone shaped K&N but you would get more flow out of a ractangle shaped one.Oh and BTW,I have a used filter off my wifes Z from when we changed intakes/CAI around. If you are interested, shoot me a pm.

The rectangular shaped one will have more surface area and will flow better than the K&N cone. You can still use the K&N cone though.
