Default looking for a vette, can't find one...

Hey guys, I'm kinda new here, and I'm shopping around for a corvette online.

I'm looking for a C5 6 speed convertible, but they're hard to come by and usually a lot higher in price. Is there a specific reason? Just because they're considered 'top of the line' in a 'non-car guy/dealer' world. ('cause everyone knows a Z06 is really the winner)

anyways, any reasonable excuse is appreciated.

thanks,

Did you look at CF:

Some people try not to sell verts in the winter, hoping to get better prices in the Spring when everyone wants a droptop.

C6 verts carried a hefty premium from the factory and that seemed to pass through in resale. Maybe C5s are the same way. Also M6's seem a bit harder to come by in verts too. Good luck in your search.

I have noticed the same thing...I am researching the market on C6 coupes. I have always liked vettes but never thought I'd own one. Now I am in the position to own one, and Im just trying to see what the prices are doing.
