J-Rod, We've designed and built many headers similar to the design you conjured up in the above post. Most of them were used in Asphault and Dirt modified race machines. Kook's manufactures headers for the majority of the East Coast circle track Modified and Tour race cars. All the championship winning cars in their respective classes run some form of Kook's headers. How about drag racing? Kook's headers are on record holding Stock, Super Stock and Comp Eliminator Race Cars. Again, a tremendous amount of thought went into this design and we felt that our design made no comprimises. Degree of difficulty had absolutely nothing to do with it. We prototyped our headers and we tested them. The results were outstanding and we're going forward. Had we not gotten it right there was absolutely nothing stopping us from going back to make adjustments. Nick "Kook's Headers"

I had one of the F-Body vendors who saw my header "photochop" respond back and let me know that they have a header that is very similar in design in R&D right now.

The C5 market continues to get more and more interesting.

So Nick, this has actually generated a few private msgs to me about folks getting some custom headers built. Mostly for big inch 422 and 436inch headers which would be a ~39" primary. To do a header like that, would you need the car, or do you have a c5 mule (like George Kook Jr's Z06) that you could mock them up on?

Just curious...

J-Rod, Kook Jr.'s car is having the headers we currently manufacture installed. What I would do if I were you is I'd wait a few days. We currently have almost our entire first run of headers and exhaust systems,(30 sets), sold. Dyno's will be going berserk in the next few days. Some of those dyno's are in your back yard, meaning Texas. Someone mentioned East Coast Vette specialists are biased towards Kook's, (what a joke). Anyway, I think you and many other C5 owners will be pleasantly surprised. Nick "Kook's Headers"

I got my Kook's couple weeks ago. Gorgeous set.

Everything fit properly and quality was top notch. My installed commented on how "pimp" they looked.

I also picked up power over the previous set I had, a popular header. I would rather not mention the brand name as to not start any flame wars.

One thing you have to like about these is that you can get 1 3/4 or 1 7/8 and 2.5" or 3" off road pipe with or wihout cats. You can get what your car needs, not what the vendor happens to make and wants to sell you.
