Thanks to us, there ain't many stockers left in this area LOL

I do have one more coming in soon for headers. Maybe I'll run it over and make a couple pulls on yours.

Hey Ed !! Is any of this correct, or am I just tired and posting incorrect information ?? LOL>

Base M6 pulls timing at ECT = 212* (-2*), so -1* somewhere just over 200*
They are very sensitive to IAT. -3* starting at 86* under load.
KR sensitivity can be be an issue too.

Thanks for the assist, I knew my memory wasn't that bad. Yes I read, heard IAT's were also an issue.

Yep. Overly sensitive buggers.
They pull all the timing out on cold starts too. Piston noise table. That whole table needs zeroed when you cam em.

LS3 normally make 376 to 385 stock, that dyno reads higher than the normal.

Iv said that with almost every car Iv bought too.

Purely a driver function. A good stick guy can cut a better 60' on a stock M6 than a good A6 driver can in part due to the high amount of torque management in the stock A6. With some trans and TM tuning, the A6 can gain as much as .3 in the 1/4, closing the gap with all but the best M6 drivers.

IMO, the M6 stills has a bit of an advantage, but a tuned A6 will run close and force the M6 to make its shifts.
