Help; ABS keeps coding
Help; ABS keeps coding My ABS and traction control keeps lighting up saying service ABS and traction control etc. The ABS activates with minimal brake pressure as little a 2-3 mph. Even costing out of the garage. Anyone have any ideas of what might be wrong. It is intermittent and doesn't happen all the time. Any help would be appreciated.
go search on corvette forums and you will find the answers to your traction/abs issues... You need to send the unit off to be rebuilt... I think it costs about $150 give or take a few and is common...
....might wanna check a wheel speed sensor before you start throwing parts at it. Maybe a crushed wire,..could be alot of things,...could be the ebcm,...etc.
You should see, somehow if you can go for a ride with a TECH II,..and monitor the wheel speed,..and see if you have any variations in speed.
If you do, in a straight line, not turning(turning and watching the wheel speeds will always vary).... then you have a bad sensor.
Could be deeper though.
