Default Going Bigger Cubes - What options??

So I'll hopefully be picking up a C5 FRC in the near future, and plan on going bigger cubes...

Not really sure what would be the best engine combination though - 383? 402? 408?

I plan on driving the car on the street 90% of the time, but it won't be a daily driver, and maybe take it to the strip once in a while. Don't plan on going FI, and probably not even run nitrous. I think I will just keep it N/A. I want to be over 500 RWHP and 500 TQ.

What would be the best option for me to go with?

Also, who should I get the engine from and who should I have build it? I'm located in north Florida.

Honestly, the answers to this are endless. While guys are responding, do plenty of searches to see other build dyno's, costs, idle qualities, heads and drivetrain mods to handle the new power. It can get $$$ real quick.

402ci LS2 and a decent top end will net you right around 500rw.

I've got a 2000 FRC and you can see my build in my sig. Larger port heads, and more cam will raise your hp, but you'll lose some torque too. Either way my car is 99% street and can blow the tires up (run flats for another 2 days) in 4th gear. Any questions, feel free to pm.

Yeah man I've been following your posts over the last few weeks in the corvette section.. Very impressive!

I wish I lived closer to LG I'd have them do all my work!
