It is a weird sound,....not my favorite to be honest. It, sounds very different under full load then it does in the video,..as you could obviously here me pedaling it. Your hear turbo's, gates opening/closing,..the un muffled exhaust(dumps, which have never been a favortie to me on any car) and tire spin.
Lot of stuff going on for sure,...sounds funky, lol, not doubt. But, it works. Soon,....some time this year, i'll do a bullet custom catback setup, with V bands, and some non restrictive mufflers, similar to B&B bullets,...but no bends other then the over the axle area. That'll be wrapped as well. If I can afford it, i'll do it in aluminum, to keep the weight low (3155 now).
So thanks bro,..not my favorite. To me, my heads and cam with lg pro long tubes, 3 inch off road x pipe and B&B bullets,..sounded perfect,...then the procharger muffled the cam slightly but, sounded like space invaders were coming from outter space,....then,..the turbos, sounded WILD inside the car but,...the dumps, and the cam, the car hits hard on the lope(cammin' @ idle) while it sits right now. Sounds more intimidating then ever when the turbos have a bit of heat in them, at idle, you can hear then whirling,...KINDA like in the start of the video.
Did you stub your toe?...What are you "ouching" hommie? I know, I know, the motors aren't supposed to be able to make more then "550rwhp" on the stock internals. Yeah, I wasn't aiming for this either,...we juct ended up with it. Proper fueling(which I am out of) and proper tuning,.... and I think we're good to go.
We were looking for 650.
11.5psi. 13 degrees of timing, maxxed out fuel pump @5500 rpms and climbing. 60 pound injectors,..not maxed out. Anyways,...it works man. lol,..it made 450rwhp on motor.

This may be a stupid question, but take it with a grain of salt.
Would it be any safer for the maxed fuel pump and stock bottom end if you pulled timing to make less power ??

Brotherman,....if you look in the look up the word "detuned"(de-too-nd) in the dictonary, you'd see a picture of my car right next to it. 12-14 degrees of timing, is alot less then stock,..21-23 degrees. We did our best to make less power after the first pull. Everything my boys did tuning,...ended up making more power with every pull. So, they went with it,...made it safe and pig rich(as they could).. no detonation on 93 octane pump gas... good to go. I run stock compression as well..... food for thought to where my power come from.
