Default headlight motor

My headlight motor is making loud noise and vibrating when i turn them off. Any of you have that problem? Does this mean it's going to go out soon?

I had one of mine start doing the loud clicking noise when i turned them off, fixed it with the brass headlight gear... i forget who sells them, but you can find out real quick with a search over on the corvettforum

yep, its the infamous plastic gears. the motor should be OK. just get the brass gears and swap them out one rainy day

look up Brent Franker on google or yahoo, he sells them and theres a video for the easy install to.

motormite help at autozone/advanced= $5 about 2 hours to replace if you have small forearms.
