Buy a corvette from cali? Yes or No?
So I test drove a ls3 corvette yesterday that was in good shape and ran very nice. So my question is should I buy it seeing as it was originally from cali? I dont live in cali but have heard they do more for emissions on there cars so would it be worth it or do they not get strict on the corvettes since its a performance car? And if they do what is different between a vette from cali and one from somewhere else? Its priced very well so input would be nice thanks pat.

I am pretty sure there is no difference. All cars these days are designed to be 50 state legal. It is when it comes to modding that we get the shaft.
No LT's
baby cams
can't move the cats at all
very little margin legally (so we all go rouge)

Yeah, I wouldn't worry about it. They are still rated the same from the factory HP wise. I do believe there is a "California Emissions" option available even on the Vettes, but it should not impede performance if you stick to using the higher octane premium fuel.

you shouldnt have any problems, performance wise is the same same power, etc.etc
the only thing is the mods, they cant change the exhaust, well yes you can but you need to be environmental friendly so like i mention you shouldnt have any problems
