How quick are....
Your C5 auto will get beat pretty good by an LS2 Vette if that's what you're asking (unless the guy behind the wheel of the other car really doesn't know what he's doing). It's got a few tenths on you 0-60 and a few mph up top in the 1/4. If you've got 2.73s, forget about it. The LS2 C6 is a mid-high 12s at low 11X with a good driver and pending track conditions.

My LS2 2006 Coupe (A6) was significantly faster than my mother-in-law's 2001 A4 coupe and came real close in acceleration to my 2003 Z06.
So, yes, stock for stock the LS2 Vettes are definitely faster, especially the A6 cars (2006-2007). The only C5 car that can take an LS2 Vette (again, stock vs. stock) is the 405HP C5Z. Autos and non Z06s are only rated at ~350HP.
