Did a little nitrous testing with the Z06..
Did a little nitrous testing with the Z06.. ...and... nothing blew up!
Setup is:
Vararam CAI
Ported TB
B&B Catback
Worn out 275/40/17 BFG DR's
Tuning by me
Everything else is BONE stock
Nitrous setup:
Dynotune C5 wet kit
HSW MicroEdge controller
TR7 plugs at .035
100 rwhp shot (VERY conservative since i'm still a newb)
Best slip: 1/8 mile track

The density altitude was 4951 FT at 11:00 pm
I made one NA pass on the nitrous tune and it went 8.23 @ 86.66 bogging, it will usually run 7.90's @ 89ish on motor in 3000-4000 FT DA
Overall i'm really happy with it for the first time out on the nitrous being that i've never had a car with nitrous, I didn't have any problems and everything worked like I wanted it too. The tuneup I have in it is very conservative, i'm confident it will go 7.20's @ 97 or so when I lean on it.. that is if nothing breaks! I'm wanting to see how much I can get out of the little 100 shot before I step it up any more. I'm planning on some drivetrain mods and some ET Streets soon so I can really get this thing to leave right.

It was on 17 inch BFG DR's for that pass, i'm confident that those tires will be good for some 1.6x 60' times, soon i'm going to install some hardened shafts, brace, clutch, maybe a set of 3.90's and some 17 inch ET Streets so I can really drop the hammer..
