nitto vs hoosier
Hoosier is a great tire for track and street but if you daily drive the car and race it alot then Nitto is the right choice since you need to replace the Hoosier every 3 months.
Maybe you should look at Nitto Invo I dont think they make 555R with C6 Size??

I replaced the rears with some invos, major improvement from the run craps. The invos are lighter,quietier,& stickier as well. BTW I'm just over 500 rwhp. Great all around street tire!!

hoosier is not a real street tire, just a street legal tire. The Nittos are a street tire that works at the track. I used to run 335 555Rs, but realized I had a vette so I dumped the drag tires and got their RII road race rubber, same compound but you can safely go over 100MPH for long periods and they handle much better. If it were a camaro or bird I would have stuck with the Rs.
