I have learned so far is not to judge by mileage but by condition and care of vehicle. I have seen some cheap 60k+ mileage mint car vs some over priced low mileage beat to hell and back ones. Also check weatherstripping by passenger side has a wicked leak.

Leaks are NOT good on these cars! Get that fixed! Otherwise the Electrical gremlins will plague that car. Looks great!

Nice upgrade. I did the same about 18 months ago...went from my cam/bolt-ons '99 T/A to the C5Z. I recently finished my H/C/I upgrade and it's a completely new beast now. I wouldn't be surprised if it would keep up w/ 500RWHP F-bods now not to mention the amazing handling.

Congrats on the car, I went from my supercharged 02 SS to an 03 EB Z06 about a year ago. I loved my SS, but I enjoy my Z, I just need to stay home long enough to enjoy it more. A h/c/i/e upgrade and I should be close to what my SS was capable of, but the Z handles so much better!

Do it! Mine's a whole new animal now. Of course the problem is that my 30K mile LS6 clutch didn't last long making over 500 at the crank. In fact I only beat on it over about 500 miles before the clutch started to slip. Now I've got a huge PITA winter project

I'm getting my clutch replaced next month. I get home in a couple of days and have a week to drive it before it goes in for having the work done. Then I might work on the mods, depends on what's discovered while it's apart for repair. This time I'm working on the supporting items first, then working on the power increase.

I really hope im seeing things here...with the amount of power YOU are making, you should be runnin away from some of those f-body's. Unless the ones you happen to come across have done some weight reduction. I mean i can kinda understand what your sayin but you make it sound like you hardly stand a chance. You might surprise yourself

looks awesome.....I'm trying to get into a Z06 myself but I can't get rid of my F-body!

Considering the market value for my car and what I could get for it, it just wouldn't be worth it me.
