Jacking up car for oil change Hey guys...
Going to do a oil change my z06 tom, just wanted to know where the best jacking locations on the car are. I have a 3 1/2 ton floor jack that i just want to jack up the front and place to jack stands and then do my change..
Anything in the center towards the front?

You need to have the car level to do the oil change. There are 4 jacking points on the car, check your owners manual. The prob is, you need a spacer to put between the jack stands and the frame to avoid damage to the body. I made mine with some hockey pucks and eyebolts - they are also available through MAD and some of the other Vette suppliers.
You will also probably need to drive the front wheels up on some boards to get the front high enough to get the jack under the front frame. The back should be okay without this.

Don't need jacking pucks, there are front and rear crossmembers, just jack by those.
Anyway, drive the front on ramps, jack the rear up by the crossmember and support it with jackstands so the rear is up just a bit higher than the front, then jack the front up a little more by the crossmember (if needed) until you have clearance to get to the drain bolt and filter.
