I was looking to find the differences between years of the c5. I am looking to get a targa top soon so have to decide the year that is best suited for me.

I know 99+ have a different computer but what did they change?

01-04 have the ls6 intake

Buy the newest one that your budget will allow. They were improvements made every year. But most significant changes made on the 2001 models. Manual versions 350/375 stock in 2001. Good luck with your search.

gm high tech has a c5 buyeers guide look it up on there page they have everything u need to no 00 and up have diffrent better comps
some come with spares some dont and so

what are the production numbers on HUD targas from 99-04? In all likely hood ill get a complete base coupe and start from scratch.

If you don't find a car with HUD and you want it you can just add it. I ordered my 02 with no options and added HUD later.
