Corvette... now with less sunvisor...
Made a custom visorless trim panel for the yellow car so I could delete the visors and have it look OEM... swapped it into the red car today. Makes for a much more open cockpit when your tall as it increases you line of sight, also makes for a more open feeling w/ the top down b/c the visors dont block any of your view of the sky.

Forum member AJG1915 did exactly that... he converted his coupe to a FRC hardtop.... its a lot of work to do it correctly.
I got into it w/ a moderator over his reasons for locking certain threads. That put me on the **** list. Then I put up a link to a **** site in OT as a joke in one of my own threads.... they axed me for that.

No.... it's more work to swap to the FRC roof becuase not only do you have to customize the FRC roof, you have to make all the chassis changes to the upper tub structure on the coupe to accept the FRC roof and trunk lid etc.

Replace the upper tub, and lots of hardware on the lower tub (speakers, latches, RF controller), etc ...
Also need rear fenders as the coupe and FRC's are different. Quite the job and very expensive from a parts and paint perspective.
btw, I am AJG1915 on CF, if you look me up over there you can see some pictures of the conversion.
