Default C4 LS2 engine swap guide with pics



Click the link below to read about upgrading a 1985 Corvette to a 2007 LS2 with a 4L60E automatic transmission. The includes discussion of some common tools needed, modifications necessary, fabrication required, and part numbers for the components to complete the swap. Many of the considerations to complete the swap into a C4 would also be pertinent to other generations.

That is really a neat setup. Any idea if a kit form would be made in the future?

No plans to develop a kit at this time, but we tried to do the swap with readily available parts and a limited number of special order parts (like the a/c hoses).
