LG Super Cool Radiator vs Ron Davis Radiator
Is there a difference between the two? How do they compare?
Which one are you running and does a radiator make a difference on a H/C
Z06? The car is not tracked or raced.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you

I picked up the LG SuperCool with built in Oil cooler back in 2006. It was quite a bit cheaper back then seeing how the price is now 1200? With that being said it does a great job keeping the coolant at the desired temp with fans programmed to assist as needed and a 160 stat in the Meziere EWP. The oil temps are always kept in check, no matter how hard she's pushed, even when the Michigan Heatwaves hit. 90-100+ temps !! Dropped a 402 in the car in 2009 (see sig) and still never an issue, not even on back to back blasts to 204 mph from 100 mph. You can't go wrong with any of the listed brands. I'd let price dictate my purchase.

What did you end up getting? If it's not too late I could tell you the difference from our radiator and the ones you're questioning.

I run a DeWitts with the left side EOC in my Z06 with 416 Stroker motor,
Half the price of the others and just as good if not better. IMO, you shouldn't have any problems with the stock rad in a H/C 346 unless you plan on lots of road racing. Just get a low temp T-stat and have your fans re-programmed to suit the T-stat. Hope this helps.

When do you guys start running into over heating issues? I am battling a hc forged 346 convertible with a 160* stat. It runs right at 195 no matter the conditions.
He keeps saying that he want to go to a radiator, I feel that is a patch to some other problem as I have had other cars with similar or bigger setups not run hotter like this one.
The radiator is free of debris and has the debris screen mounted under the bumper.
