C7 corvette? I was reading road and track the other day and they had a short story about the upcoming c7 corvette, they said it would retain the front engine rear wheel drive platform, but the engine would something like a 5.5 liter, still OHV, and they said it would make just as much power as the current ls3. they also said the car would weigh in at right at 3000 pounds. They didnt give any information on the z06 or zr1 however.

They're testing out the 5.5 motor in the racing corvettes right now i believe. They say if you want to see the future of the corvette, keep an eye on the racing team. Most likely that'll be the next motor, and hopefully not some tt v6
