Just picked up my First Z06 It's a 2006 C6 Z....completely stock with 15k miles.
I have been looking for almost a year and finally found the one I wanted and drove up to get her this past weekend.
I am deciding what mods to do first....I am thinking a CAI, exhaust and tune before next summer. I still have no idea on which brands I want to go with. Throw me some suggestions!

Gorgeous car. Love the C6 Z06. How do you like it so far? I'd go CAI and headers first. Neighbor has one down the street. Told him to hold off on a catback until after headers. He likes how it sounds enough with headers he decided not get a catback.

Being in an F-body for years and years and going to this is such a big difference. I've only driven it a handful of times and it's def going to take some seat time to drive it to it's full potiental.
Yeah, I think Ill be getting headers and a CAI first from what people are saying. How is the header install on these ? Has to be easier than an F-body, correct?

I'm friends with the guy that did the install on the C6Z I mentioned. He mentioned the stock manifolds were a pain to get out. I didn't have him elaborate whether it was a tight squeeze or if the bolts didn't want to play nice. Other than that he said it wasn't too bad. The C5's I've done (the C6 looks to be very similar) aren't bad. I do find a crow bar and a towel to keep it from damaging anything to be handy to move the motor a bit. Much easier than the Fbody.

Thanks again guys, I love driving this thing....it's by far my favorite car I have ever had.
He was asking 43500 but I offered 40 and he took it
I was really looking to get one around 38 to 39, but I had to jump on this one because of the mileage(15k) and condition of the car.
It was also exactly what I was looking for as far as color and options go
