I am building an ls7 for my 02 z06 right now. Save some money and get a stronger engine. You will have the correct reluctor wheel and no problems with long crank snout or dry sump changeover. Plus you will have forged pistons, steel rods with bushed pin ends and the cam and compression of your choice.
