Gettin headers installed. Well, I wanna go get these damn Kooks longtubes put on the vette, but I got a question. A local shop said they would put em on for 300bucks, but my question is whether or not im gonna need any computer work done. They are the kooks off road, race ready headers. Its a 2003 zo6, do I need to have "EGR" deleted and do I have to get O2 simulators at first, or can I wait a little while for things like that?

If the headers have the EGR hook ups, then don't worry bout the EGR delete, and as long as you keep the CATS on you can go w/o the 02 sims. As far as computer work, just do an idle relearn and that should take care it it until more major modifications take place.

They have NO air hook ups, NO cats, they are the Kooks Longtube RACE headers. How would the car run with out O2 sensor simulators, and without the PCM retuned for not having AIR hooked up.
