Question Tips on aligning an aftermarket hood

Will be installing a aftermarket hood later this week and I was wondering if anyone had tips on how to line it up perfectly.

I really depends on the hood. My MCM just bolted up.

Lay the hood in place to see how it fits first. Modify as necessary.

Bolt it up snug and take a pencil and outline the hinge bolts. Lay it down and see how you have to move it Loosen the bolts and move the hood on the hinges again as necessary.

Adlust the stands that determine the height of the hood (front/rear/left/right)

Piece of cake..depending on the hood.

I agree.

Get some 3M blue painters tape and line the edges of the fenders and the front fascia where the hood meets and lay the hood on.

This is after removing the stock hood and remvoing the struts so that the hinges lay flat.

BTW, what brand hood did you buy ?
