LS7 in a C6 is this a difficult swap???

LS7 in a C6 is this a difficult swap???
my friend has a C6 like 05 or 06 the LS2 one and has ran across a 427 7.0L out of a 2006 i believe C6 Z06 its in great shape and he was wanting me to swap it for him is this a easy swap ??? what all am i looking at needing to make this happen ???

Just off the top of my head, he would need the oil tank, the lines for the oiling system. New exhaust (manifolds and mids, or long tubes) and if it is the 05, you would need the harness and ecu, unless you use a converter box for the crank signal. (correct me if I am wrong, but the 2005 model LS engines were the last of 1 reluctor wheels and in 2006 they used a completely different)

Too much work for 2005, your friend would be better off buying a forged LS3 motor from a vendor.
The battery will aslo need to re-located to the rear as the oil tank goes there.

Actually your information was very helpful, it just needed a little tweaking.

Unfortunately computers are not very forgiving and if you don't spell it right or do it in a specific manner, etc ... The computer can't figure it out for ya.
