TH400 install in my C5
TH400 install in my C5 hey guys, just wanted to share a few pics of my th400 install in a C5. Tore it down a week or so ago and have been thrashing on it. I should finish it up this coming weekend. The remaining items are re-hang exhaust, weld sheet metal back on the tunnel and reinstall my turbo oiling system. The specs are in my sig below. Although this is my daily driver, i'm going drag racing!!! Shooting for 8.90's.... Needless to say my next project is some cage.
Couple of pan shots.... excuse the paint on the pan, kinda slid it around too much before install.
Can't see all of the cut-out but it goes down the side of the tunnel a bit. More than i thought i was going to have to cut but should be very easy to weld up.

I would LOVE to do this. I went through a couple MN12 transmissions in my C5Z.. Got tired of fixing those so I sold them and got all new TR6060 setup with a C6Z diff and all suspension. With that said... I'll trade ya drivetrain!! Lol
