C5 Headlight help!!!
C5 Headlight help!!! Looking at buying a c5 thats has non pop-up headlight, Im wanting to know how hard it would be to put the stock ones back on. Also it does not come with the stock headlights so does any know if they sell the headlights as a kit.
You will have to figure out what all had to be done to install the non pops up. If anything had to be fabricated and worked etc. The stock c5 head lights are pretty poor. They are not very bright at all.
As far as going back to the orginals you have 2 options. Find someone who is willing to trade your lights for theirs or buy them from a junk yard. Either way you are probably going to have to get them painted unless you get lucky and find a matching wrecked car/trade.
There are some HID kits that retain the pop lights and when I do head lights that is what I plan to do. Check out corvetteforum.com for someone willing to trade or more information about lights.
