243 & 799 Heads!

243 & 799 Heads! ok so i have been reading multiple threads & posts about 243 & 799 heads. i read they are from the same casting just different numbers. i also read that the only difference is that the 243's have hollow intake valves & sodium filled exhaust valves.
so the question i have is this, & if everything above is true. then will the valves out of the 243 heads work in the 799's. if so, then basically this will turn them into 243's(sort of a hybrid if you will). i also read that the compression will be slightly higher using the 799, going from a 10.1 to 10.5.
i know there are guys out there alot smarter then me on this because i have never had to take an engine down this far before. so any & all help i get is greatly appreciated.

243/799 casting is the same to my knowledge and will carry the same CC
The C5 Z06 LS6/243 head was the only head that had the better valves and not a LS2/243 head.
The valves and such are all interchangeable per casting.
