Yep, you would love everything about the ZO6. It is very hard to put into words the joy that this car brings. I had my ZO6 for about a year and a half and never really modded it past minor bolt ons.....and the honeymoon never ended. It is the first car that I have ever drove that revs like a motorcycle.....1st is gone in 2 sec(45mph)....2nd is gone in 3 more(70mph)....3rd is gone in 4more(100mph) Count it up. That's 100mph in 9 seconds. The thing ripped. Power delivery through the rev range was one of the things that made it so much fun. If you have ever driven a BMW, that is what I am talking about......linear power delivery with no dead spots....just continuous pull......endless pull. You swear the smile on your face is about to touch your ears. And the handling was pretty damn good. About 70% of the time I would be powersliding around street corners just because the handling was so balanced and it was so much fun. Let me put it to you this way.....my front tires wore just as quickly as my rear tires....that's how much I enjoyed the handling of that car. A freeway interchange was a reason to accelerate, not slow down. Drag the brake slightly to balance the car while you are hard on the accelerator.
Anyway, as you can see I talk about this car like an old girlfriend. It has only been gone for 3 weeks and I am trippin'. It will be 2 years for the next ZO6 but I don't see how I can wait that long. Anyway, my only warning to you is that if you can afford it, don't test drive one until you are read to buy. If you do drive one, you WILL buy it!!!!
Also, the prices on the things are sickeningly low. I am glad I got out of mine unscathed. It is a buyer's market out there right now. Go get ya one. My favorite on the market right now is at the link below. May not be for everyone, but I love it!!!! And you can't beat it for the price.
