Do they have the same motor?

I did a search found out that I was wondering if the cubes where the same? I found that the ls1 is 347 and wanted to know if the Z06 was the same? we where talking about it at work and no one new.

Same cubic inches, LS6 heads on ZO6 are slightly higher compression,flow a little better than Ls1 heads, but most of the extra power is made with the camshaft,( higher lift and more duration)and different valves (lighter),valve springs(stronger)

They are one in the same. The Z06 is a C5. The Z06 has the LS6 engine and the base Corvette C5 has the LS1 engine.
