2004 wont start

Hello all I have a 2004 Corvette with 17000 miles on it. I ran out of gas last night and now it will not start. I put gas in it but all it will do is turn over. PLEASE HELP nice weather is here. Much thanks

I just checked the fuse and it is fine, but I did replace it. Still nothing.

Bad things happen when you push the car to the limits while low on gas.

check fuel pressure from the rail.should be around 60 psi.you might have burn the pump from running out empty.

Is there a fuel relay? I do not hear the fuel pump when I turn the key on. The check engine light also stays on when I keep the key turned on. I am at a loss. I just don't see how GM would make a car that if you run out of gas there would be major damage.
