Do they just sell OE parts, or do they have aftermarket styles as well? We're looking for chrome ones that come out from under the car.

Some people like the JC Whitney sidepipes. They look like Hookers, but only one of the primaries is hooked up to the manifold. The other three just end under the car. Personally, I'm not a big fan of them. I like the real thing. ($1700 is a little high, but they really aren't cheap. Check Summit.) Here's my '70 with no-name Hookers:

I must state first that i am a rookie mechanic. We were testing the starter after putting it back in and connected the battery to make sure it would turn over, and it did, but someone forgot to unhook the battery! someone touched something together and we got smoke
Does anyone know where to get a wiring diagram for the car? I have a feeling that one of the wires is toast, but we want to try and find out where. The wiring is so old and nasty, were considering a new harness, but that would be a pain in the ***. Maybe we will build one of our own any suggestions?
