Default Wide Booty Conversion Complete

Hey guys,
I just finished my wide body rear conversion on my base c6. I had two days of prep work that I put into it, but it came out fairly well for someone who never used a HVLP paint gun. I got the rears from California Supercoupes and it worked out good since they are right down the road from me, so I was able to shoot down there and pick them up. The panels all came predrilled and I only had to elongate one hole per side. Not bad at all to be honest. I put two coats of base and two clear coats on the rears. There are some imperfections which I knew was going to be there prior to finishing since im not a professional painter. Either way I had a blast doing it and I love working on my car when I can. I am waiting on the clear to set in before I wetsand and buff the rears. The car is going to be professionally painted when I do my z06 front end conversion, I am not taking on that lol.

PRIOR TO KIT

Nice job. It definitely changes the look. Did the rears last year myself and wonder why I didn't do it sooner.

I have the rear widebody fenders sitting not installed yet....

However the longer they sit the more I want to do the front at the same time.

Well I got around to doing the front end conversion as well. I had a set of 6.0 badges to cover the OEM hole where the Z06 badge goes over. Love how it all came together!

AND HOW SHE LOOKS NOW ON SOME 345 INVOS

Having the heads sent back to me from TEA as we speak. Should have them on the car next weekend hopefully. Cam only the car made 463 rwhp on bone stock 243 heads. The car should be right 500 to the wheels with the new TFS 225 heads. Havent brought it to the track. Jay
