Default UPGRADES-For the StormTrooper FRC

While I was working on another project, and waiting on parts...decided to do an upgrade or two...or few.....while my ADD was working overtime and my car needed to come apart anyways.

The car currently....

Upgrading turbos...

Changing some things around on the FMIC and delivery to it and from it. Old silicone,....gonna probably upgrade to dual seal clamps on it and also make my intercooler have quick disconnect tabs so I can remove it without pulling off my front bumper.... few other tricks too.

Radiator/other mods while everything is out of the vehicle as well. Maybe a custom power steering tank, etc. Over all,...this will hopefully be the last time the car is gonna be apart for a while....hopefully a very long time. I figure, do it,...do it right. So,..we'll see how my mulitasking goes over the next few months.

Bitchin' J. What turbos are you swapping to? WTH are you still doing with a MAF?

I'm pulling my crap box out of the gargae and doing the initial tuning and as much of the clutch break in as I can today. Goooooo 36 degree weather.

Dang, thought I replied to this yesterday. My bad brotha.

Same turbos, just upgrading to BILLET WHEELS. So, 67mm Billet compressor wheels. They'll be the GTX series 11 blade setups.

Can't wait.

Then, getting rid of the old silicone. As you noticed I have the maf there. It's been a 800rwhp street car for years like that on 93 octane. Now, It's time to depart with it. I now am going to a 3 bar map system. Getting rid of all the silicone. I think I am gonna try something new. Instead of silicone from turbos to intercooler, then intercooler to TB....I think I am gonna go to a high pressure "dual seal" design. I wanna make the FMIC removable without having to remove my bumper. So, quick change brackets for that....then, new piping, and new clamps. Like this

So:

Turbos(new wheels-new finish)
Radiator(dewits-coating black)
May use AN fittings for all coolant lines now....I dunno yet. Trying to figure out how much work I wanna put myself through.

I MAY,...may, also modify the front framerail in the car to allow for more airflow. I might, since everything is off the car right now anyways.

Then, I need to rear lower C6 control arms...then I gotta take out drivetrain again so I can swap pilot bearing.

Also fixing my one lip damaged FIKSE wheel while it's down....also gonna look into getting new tires on all four corners.

Ultimately,...at this point,...I am in no rush. It is what it is. I might as well make the car what I want it to be,...while I can. I wanna have everything in finish quality.

Yea i thought so too. That whole area is like the center piece ya know..not just for attention but, for work. So, I want it to be functional, as in able to put in work, quickly.

Nice that you got to take yours out. I have been soo busy lately at work I have little free brain left over to remember to call you to see how its been. I know you had exhaust leaks a while back with it but I think you fixed that.

I CANNOT WAIT TO GET MY CAR DOWN THE 1320!!!!!!!!!!!

SMOKING HOT.... thats the kind of girl I need bro. Not so I could mooch off her,...just so I wouldn't have to support her like my last 20 chicks lmao.

Speaking of...the boy and I are going out tonight to be whorish.

Can't wait.

Dump tubes...done. Now just gotta get coated...which is gonna suck to cover up these gorgeous welds.

Anyways...progress. THINKING about making my midpipes out of aluminum, like the axle back. Just wanna pause on the money spending though at the moment. Even though I supply this stuff...STILL is expensive lol. Anyways, few pics to keep up with the updates.

..more pics in process of being uploaded....will post more in a few.

New bov location

New high pressure clamps...plus the plate that gets all kinds of love...

My 2 loves...

WG dumps....

A nice surprise...broken *** end links...I NEED new sway bars anyways but..

and I love my V band exhaust....so easy to remove....
