what speed where you at when it lifted? did it tend to float or bounce at higher speeds around 80-100?

I can help Matt out here... It was around 130. I was the Blue C5Z right behind him in one of his pics. That was a crazy thing to see live! Hood buckled, and then popped right back into place by the time he returned to the pits.

TPE Flare's, The hood is Sold.. It buckled at the last 1/2 mi event I went to. It actually sustained no damage if you can believe that. complete Tiger shark front, Rear bumpers and now hood....

It's got a tiny cam... And some 1.8 rockers Matt's car runs well. Real well!

did he contact pete (carbon creations) and explain what happened? this actually happened to my hood as well. around 135-140. same thing. air got under it. lifted it. mine cracked all underneath and the clear on the top. I was one of of the first batches on the hood as well. either 1st or 2nd.
Was his all taped up when it happend? or was that after?

sent him pics and he shipped a new one out. the new ones are a bit heavier and thicker. my hood doesnt float at all. had it up to 130-140 a few times with no issues.
