C5Z's are faster stock then full bolton C5 coupes in my experiences...
C5Z's are lighter, better rear gearing along with steeper trans gearing ect... I wouldnt have expected anything any different especially with having headers and a tune... you figure the C5Z is probably in the high 380-395 whp range ....

Did you or the shop degree the new cam when you put it in ?
I just got one that was 6.5 degrees retarded. I had to make it up with the Cloye's adjustable timing set. That alone will make you run like a dog, tune or not.
A friend got one 4 degrees off last year. Huge difference in power
