have a 08 c6 and replaced the thermostat and temp sensor about 3 weeks ago and yesterday did the plugs and wires and now have p0118 code coolant sensor circuit high voltage making my temp gauge not work again , any suggestions on this.

Being you did plugs and wires and then the problem started. I would say you broke the coolant sensor on the drivers side head or disconnected the plug on accident. Just taking a shot in the dark there, But I would go check.

i checked the plug that was my thought after some time i realized i may have hit the plug off. but as for damaging the plug how fragile are they i did not hit it i dont think.
