All just out of the Box. Not trying for a max build as 90% of my time is street driving

Finally back on the road. I put in a new Monster LT1 Twin and I like it so far. It is a little grabby but quiet as hell. I have never run a quiet twin, they are typically pretty noisy at idle in neutral. I hope this thing will do some 1.4 sixty foot times.

I just completed the RPM 3 heat cycles. Now I need to break in the diff and clutch with 500 street miles. That is going to take me awhile.

The drive train will probably never be this clean again

By the way, I did try to dyno when the Tex clutch was slipping. We got 520 but the torque was crazy low. I found a kinked fuel line from the torque tube install, so I ran a new line back to front on the rail. The tuner was bitching when he added fuel... nothing would happen. I guess I know why now !!

I have seen a lot of damaged fuel lines on manual cars...usually the shifter catches the lines....people just don't know to look there(not that you can REALLY see anyways haha). Glad you found it. I'm sure the car will run well.

Well really, if I had looked in the shifter hole it was clear as can be.

You are correct, the shifter box will catch it every time if you don't watch out.

Thx..it feels good to have one done.

My Silverado is killing me. Just found out the case is bad on my tranny so had to yank it out again. The servo clip broke and ate up the servo and case.

Default New diff comes apart

Bad news
Almost got my new 418 Stroker and freshened up RPM tranny and Diff broke in, and boom on the freeway last Sunday. Just near 400 miles and going into forth gear and the diff came apart. I was told "that doesn't just happen" so it wouldn't have a warranty. NICE !!!

I was on my way to the gym and barely got on our 3 mile bridge when it let go. What a lousy morning. It took me about 3 hours to get back home, hook up my trailer and get it to the garage. Nothing like cars buzzing by your body 2-4 feet away while you are strapping a car down. Fricken diff fluid everywhere.

So.... I found another company to look at it and tell me what went wrong. Ships out Monday and when received I will get a 2 day turnaround. My nothing really wrong with it to begin with diff will have to be Freshened up again. Pretty sad !!!!

I got it back...another 2k. Hope to get it back in tomorrow. Taking friends Procharged 402 to the LSX Holly Fest in Bowling Green on Wednesday so it might have to wait till I get back. We need to get these Dual AFR gauges wired up to HP Tuners fast.

Bust out another 2k.
Getting it off the 3 mile bridge wore the edge of my ring and pinion. Geezee no end. Had Rick from RTK fix it and ready to go back in this weekend. Have to get this thing to the track quick after breakin miles. I have MIR coming up the end of November. Damn time flies.
If you are in a hurry...Rick is second to none on turn around time. I will get to race with him at MIR in 4 weeks

By the way, we had a 10.14 average and that was only good for 6th place.
A 9.8, 9.9 and a 10.6 (something like that) wasn't even close. Those guys are crazy good drivers and have their cars dialed in to a couple thousandths.

Anyone want a good time...go to the Holly Fest next year !!!!

If I can get my Silverado truck tranny straightened out I want to run it in the True Street next year. You have to drive 30 miles then hot lap and hit your dial in time. It takes an Auto trans unless your the best shifter in town,,,,I'm not !!!! My old 402 was running an 11.14 best.
