Voltage Fluctuating on DIC

Voltage Fluctuating on DIC Here is my story:
The car is an A4 2002 C5 I changed out the starter, for a new one, tightened battery terminal etc. Tested altenator to battery and its fluctuating like 12.5 12.9 13.5 the same on DIC. Tested Battery terminals constant 12v
Don't know what else to do, The DIC initial start up is fine showing 14.2 volts, but once the car warms up goes to 13.8 13.4 12.9 12.5 12 etc etc just all over the place. Thoughts would be appreciated Thanks.

Already fixed it myself without any suggestions,
For anyone else dealing with this problem, mine was the smaller red wire to the starter on main post, most of it was burned, so on cold starts it would get charge, but as engine warmed up, it would not because it was brittle and burned.
Re spliced wires, crimped them, Haven't had problems since.

C5's are known for poor grounds and issues with dimming lights, voltage not being stable, etc.
We have the Big 3 kit that has cured these issues on many C5's.
