Default lowering a zo6

does anyone have any pics of a zo6 thats been lowered 1 inch all the way around, and how did you do it ? i have the longer bolts in the rear coming but how do you do the front?I've read cutting the bushing on the front? thanks

Must people cut the front bushings, and throw away 2/3rds of it, then just loosen the bolts about .5" to lower it about an inch in front. You will need the longer bolts on the Z06 rear since the leaf spring is so much stiffer than a Z51 spring. On a stock or Z51 the bolts are long enough to get an inch drop easy! That is all that is required.

Try lowering the car using the stock bolts first, see how you like it first, don't be in a hurry to cut things.

search corvette forums for lowering instructions, its really easy though..

lower it using the stock bolts, don't even bother cutting. Friend of mine dropped his all the way and it still rides like stock, but handles 100% better, if it's possible to handle 100% better in a Z06

Agreed. You can get too low quickly. The stock bolts in the rear can get you as low as you need...

i have the stock bolts in the back and the front bushings cut in the front. Ill post some picks of it tomorrow when i get home. Its not a zo6 but its a hard top.
