Delrin motor mounts thoughts?

Delrin motor mounts thoughts? As the title states... Had solid Spohn motor mounts on the Camaro and loved them. How's the solid / Delrin type on a Vette? No issues with heat for these right?
Car is a 2004 M6, and will probably be paired with a Hoosier Performance Trans / diff brace

A friend of mine just put solid mounts on his 2012 GS and he does track the car at Road America but dislikes the shear rigidity on the street. He says the majority of drivetrain vibrations are felt through the shifter.
While lateral stiffness/handling is improved; the jury is still out on street hooking with such a tight and stiff sidewall tire.
