Considering getting a c6... Should I spend more for an 08?

This.

Really not sure what you mean bud.

Do you mean the hydraulic clutch system? If so, basic maintenance will make the hydraulics last longer. If you are going to go through the extent of changing the clutch, I would recommend a remote bleeder, and perhaps a higher performance master and slave cylinder....although people rock stock stuff and seems to work. Me, I had to run all aftermarket due to configuration. I don't want your head to explode with a bunch of stuff that doesn't pertain to a LS3 based C6(I have an older frankenstein model). Detoxx seems to have a pretty good example of what the platform is capable of without a giant laundry list of rare parts. I would mock his setup if I where you, relatively anyways.

Keep it simple. You'll live a happier life with the car.
I don't know what I was asking either way probably talking about the auto.

And yeah seems most places say 600 whp is sweet spot. Don't really have to do much supporting mods other than fuel. Drivetrain should be okay. It's off I nrhe future what I'd do. Upp said 9.5k for full install tune everything I need to make roughly 600whp out the door. I understand a blower would be cheaper and i could probably install myself but turbos are too addicting.

Might just leave it completely stock and build my supra into a drag car.

But yeah mid 20s for an 08 is not worth it. The ls2 and 3 are both perfectly capable for that power level under boost in Stock form.

Link me setups around 5-6whp that were done most stock and reliably as possible? Preferably turbo or blower setups.

Also saw tick performance dies a aa blower install and tune for 6500 that's a pretty solid deal.

Haha, mid 20's not worth it for an 08... Go drive one and I think you'll rethink that statement. Ls2s are good but ls3s are **** on glass. Everything is better... Not knocking ls2s but theirs a reason GM did minimal changes to the ls3 for it to become the new lt1
