Door lock actuator issue?
Door lock actuator issue? Hey guys, well I believe the door lock actuator bit the dust in my 2006 z51. The other day out of no where the driver door just stopped opening. That being said I did some research and ordered new oem door pads for both doors since they were so cheap. I installed the pad today and of course, not fixed. The door makes plenty of noise when touching the pad, but will NOT open unless I use the emergency release handle down on the floor board. Also the door will not open if I push the button from the inside either. Ive changed the key fob battery in hopes it would fix it but it did not as well.
Just seeing who has had this issue and if spending the 150.00+ on a new actuator and cable is the fix. Thanks guys!

Having same problem with my 08 Buick La Crosse Super driverside rear lock will not open this is a major problems on all 04 to present GM's from what I have been reading. Looks to be the door actuator is the problem go to Gruvenparts.com they seem to have a upgrade you can buy with upgraded parts and a video to watch on how to install the new actuator.
