Pulling motor pointers

Pulling motor pointers Working on a C6 6spd car. Gotta pull the motor.
-Do I have to drop the rear and tq tube before pulling the motor?
-Can I just remove the tq tube?
-Is it better to drop the engine or come out the top?
I've done many vehicles including fbody's but this looks challenging mainly because I'm not really familiar with vettes. I don't have a lift but I have a cherry picker, ramps, and plenty of stands.
I appreciate any and all input!

Ok good I was planning on dropping it. What about the drivetrain? Am I gonna have to pull the rear cradle to get the tq tube out or is there enough wiggle room to unbolt it and get it out like that?

A lift is on my list for the next big purchase for my shop.
Tomorrow I should have the both cradles dropped and everything out. Made a lot of progress today once I got the procharger bs out the way.
