questions about 99 up pcm repin. Cant seem to get an answer on CF so maybe you guys can help me...
getting ready to do a 99 up PCM in my 98... been doing some searching but cant quite come up with an answer. What would stop me from just swapping to a harness out of a 99 car? Can get one now for $100 from a friend but not sure if its a direct swap or what would need to be done. Id rather save the hassle of repining my current one if at all possible.

I do not know. Google searches are often the most productive. If I were to do the swap I would go with the 0411 PCM from a 01-03.

If it comes in to play I believe EFI live can change the VIN but I would verify with EFI live.
