Default ZR1 testing at Laguna Seca

With all the talk about the mid-engine Vette, it's easy to forget that a new ZR1 is on the way... How much power do you think they're going to get out of this baby? There's more info on the HP.

It's funny because the engineers at Chevy said "this is the best you can do with the front engine rear wheel drive layout", when they made the last Z06. The car was a bit of a disaster, too squirmy, couldn't keep the power down properly. Then of course Dodge came along with the ACR and said "of course you can do better, just add some aero", then proceeded to annihilate the Z06 on the track, along with several other supercars. Now here comes Chevy playing copycat, eating crow on the "we need a different layout" and adding aero.

I am glad the Viper pushed them to take this extra step.
