The LUX TDM has a large amount of Polyurethane to minimize noise and vibration making it comfortable for street driving yet stout and firm enough to keep the Trans/Diff stabilized during hard launches, power shifting, racing or just spirited driving. The stock rubber mount is very soft and allows a substantial amount of movement especially with any type of power adders and Drag Radials/Slicks. The upgraded mount have gone from a 1.5" x 2" center tube up to a 2.5" x 2.5" so it holds much more polyurethane for more reduction of noise & vibration.
The internals of the mount have also been beefed up a long with going from a 7/16" diameter center bolt to a 3/8". Over all its been a big upgrade.
