my catch can is installed like the picture with one exception. the rear port on the passenger side that ties in with the drivers side is still hooked up. 97 stock ls1. the arrow in the picture is the one i'm talking about. does this look right? thanks
Nothing wrong with doing it that way but the stock LS1 had an inline PCV valve just before entering the intake manifold and if your catch can does not have a built in PCV valve then I'd suggest you run one between the can and the intake manifold.
thanks for the reply. yes i retained the factory pcv. i had just seen some other diagrams that showed to cap that port off but it looked to me "why". so thanks again.
What catch can did you use? Im looking to put one as well a cheaper 20$-30$ amazon one. Though i read some had some metal debris in them that could get sucked up into the intake. From the metal mesh filter or burs.
