Clutch job on a C5 How hard is this to do? I am a expierenced mechanic but have never takled a Gm car like this with the tunnel system. Is there any writeups on it and what do shops usually charge in labor for this? Thanks Sturgis guy 
Depends... The last one I had done by the dealer and it cost around $400 I think... You have to drop the whole tunnel/rearend, exhaust, etc... quite a bit of work and a REAL BIG pita if you don't have a lift...
First one took me 8 hours.Not I can do them in under 3.You have to take out the shifter,then drop the whole rear suspension/tranny.Undo the torque tube and pull the rear back.
