Default New Mods Going In Next Week!

I'm having 18" DRs mounted on the rear Monday and on Thursday East Coast Supercharging is installing my new Yank SY3500 converter! Between the stickier tires and the bigger yet lighter hitting converter, I'm hoping to find enough traction to run in the 11s.

P.S.- As you can see from the 60' time in my sig, I've had a bit of a traction problem since I had the bigger cam and 3.73 gears installed.

You will easily be in the 11's.
I've seen a stock c5 run 11.97 with that converter. You will be more than happy next time you go to the track.
Make sure you really heat up those DR's and lower the pressure to 18#, 15# if needed.
Which track do you go to?

Hi, Dave. I run at Numidia (where the run in my sig was made) and at Maple Grove (till they give me the boot because of no rollbar in the car).

Hmmmm, I've never been there, I'll have to check it out next season, doesn't look like its too far from me.
I do like Maple Grove though the traction is excellent.

Track prep used to suck at Numidia, but since this new owner, Phil, took over things have greatly improved. I was at Maple Grove for the last day and Numidia had actually been better when I was there two weeks before.

BTW, I live in the Hazleton area.

Are you done for the season?

Remember the old Prego commercials "It's in there"

It's starting to look that way. It's supposed to snow up here next week.
