Which Shifter? Ok the stock shifter has got to go......PERIOD.... 
So out of the like 102341234 dif types i have come across on the net i'm curious as to what seems to be the best so far in your opinions.
So far i'm pretty much looking at the:
Hurst short throw
and
B&M Ripper
I've heard the most talk about these two, but any imput i can get from you guys would be great.....thanx

I had a hurst in my camaro and just got one in the vette last night.... it made a bigger difference in the vette, it is soooooo freakin awsome, as long as it takes to make that click sound your allready in the next gear.... I put them side by side and the hurst has not only a shorter throw but the stick is shorter also wich will make the throw even less, its also got adjustable centering spring tensions, there's diff sets of springs and you can also adjust the tightness of each one(my camaro didnt have that), and of corse it has the bump stops that are adjustable.... aside from taking out the stock shift **** w/ that damn clip in it, it only takes about 1/2hr for complete install..... I bet the b&m is probably the same exact thing but I've used hurst before and really like them, and its about $30 less too.... I vote for the Hurst!!!
